Over the holiday season, the Harlequin Puppet Theatre staged a wonderful Christmas show, from Boxing Day to New Year. This show featured Santa's magic toyshop, a marionette cabaret and conjuring by Mr. Bimbamboozle. It is estimated that dozens of tourists staying at hotels in Llandudno drove down to Rhos-on-Sea with their children, to see this traditional form of entertainment.
. Theatr Conwy: Located in Colwyn Bay, around five miles from Llandudno, the Theatr Conwy is the oldest operating cinema in the UK. This year, it staged a Welsh language version of the popular 'Jack and the Beanstalk' traditional tale, named 'Jac a'r Goeden Ffa'. This production featured the humour and songs of Martyn Geraint, one of the best known childrens' entertainers in Wales.
