In November 2011, the annual Conwy County Borough Sports Awards were held at the Venue Cymru in Llandudno. This year, the annual Celtic Winter Fair was attended by an estimated 12,000 people, many of whom were staying at bed and breakfast boutiques in the town. The plan for a new Alice in Wonderland attraction is just one of many ideas proposed by the Conwy Council to bring in more tourists to the hotels in Llandudno.
